Ray has a Master of Science
in Computer Science and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
on both the Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0 platforms. He has over
22 years of computer systems experience with 15 of those years in
the consulting arena. Ray brings a unique perspective to computer
systems consulting with his cross between software developement
and network systems support skills. This provides significant benefits
to our clients, as most computer professionals usually work in the
programming area or the systems area and not both.
During his 15 years as
a consultant, Ray worked on a variety of projects. He used his knowledge
of both hardware and software to provide clients with unique solutions
to the problems they were having.
After finishing
his Masters degree, Ray served in several capacities with Modular
Mining Systems. Those included Lead Software Engineer (LSE) and
Lead Analyst (LA) on the Global IT Infrastructure. While working
as the LSE, Ray designed and developed a system for running robot
haul trucks in mines for which he holds two patents. After completion
of this project, Ray decided to switch departments and became the
LA. While working in this position he planned and rolled out the
Windows 2000 platform in a 10 office/ 8 country structure.
Upon leaving
Modular, Ray went back into the software developement side of technology
working in quality assurance with NewMonics. While there, he tested
software for bugs and then helped them to resolve those bugs.
Now Ray has
come full circle with all of these experiences and has reentered
the consulting arena which he enjoyed for so many years. His goal
is to help clients succeed through the use of technology.
Ray received
his B.S. in Computer Engineering and his M.S. in Computer Science
from the University of Arizona. Ray
also taught a computer architecture class at Pima Community College.
Ray
enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and singing. Ray has
served in both leadership and teaching responsibilities in his church
.
